what is in the tooth bites?

Tooth Bites is handmade with care and natural ingredients. No paraben, SLS, fluoride and animal testing.

Xylitol is a lower-calorie sugar substitute with a low glycemic index. Xylitol occurs naturally in small amounts in fibrous fruits and vegetables, trees, corncobs, and even the human body. Xylitol is a common ingredient in many products, from sugar-free chewing gum to toothpaste. People also use xylitol as a table-top sweetener and in baking.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, is used in a variety of toothpaste because it is safe and gentle on your gums and teeth. It is a mild abrasive. This is the same abrasiveness that effectively removes surface stains from your teeth.

Bentonite is a common ingredient found in many cosmetics because it absorbs materials by sticking to their molecules. Oxygenate uses Food Grade Bentonite because it is safe for ingestion. Mining and processing the Bentonite does not pose any toxicological dangers to the environment.

Calcium Carbonate

Calcium Carbonate is found naturally in rocks. It is a fine and white powder with a bit of a chalky taste. Many medicinal dietary supplements contain Calcium Carbonate. It is a mild abrasive which is safe and gentle on your body.

Bamboo Salt

Bamboo Salt was originally created by Korean herbalist, Dr. Insan in 1917. It is used in a variety of toothpaste already in East Asia. Bamboo Salt is produced using a process that leads to decreased toxicity. It converts the acidity of the salt to a strong alkalinity. This does not happen in sun-dried salts. We use Bamboo Salt that is ocean-harvested using organic and sustainable methods.

Peppermint is created from watermint and spearmint. It is commonly used to add flavor or fragrance to foods, cosmetics, soaps, toothpaste, mouthwashes, and other products. We use dried Peppermint (Mentha piperita) leaves.

Magnesium Stearate

Magnesium Stearate is a magnesium salt of stearic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid. Magnesium Stearate helps ensure a consistent dose in each tablet. It helps prevent ingredients from sticking to each other and helps create a clean tablet shape.
